The most delicate Virginia and Perique leaves are hand-twisted traditionally to create Samuel Gawith Cabbies Roll Cut 50gr Cabbies Mixture, which is then allowed to cure under pressure.
The twist has now been cut into slices so you can prepare it whatever you choose. Perique is a distinctive leaf that gives any blend a unique flavour, and it needs to be handled with care because it can easily throw a blend off balance and have terrible effects. Many blenders are hesitant to attempt it for these two reasons, but not the new SG & GH team.
