Rich in fruit, earthy depth and savoury character, ARENSBAK Red brings a thoughtful alternative to red wine to the table. Its foundation is black Shu Puerh tea from Yunnan in southwestern China, chosen for its naturally earthy flavour and the depth it lends to the finished drink.
Crafted on a kombucha base, ARENSBAK Red develops its layered character through a second fermentation with chokeberries, blackcurrants, sour cherries and mushrooms for umami. Juniper berries and liquorice add herbal complexity and depth to the mouthfeel, while oak enhances the drink’s natural tannins and structure.
