Brand:
Founded by Alvarez y Garcia in 1875 and named after Shakespeare's tragic lovers- Romeo Y Julieta. The brand rose to fame in 1903 under the direction of a talented promoter- Don 'Pepin'.
The cigar is known for its nearly claro, or light-brown, wrapper, as well as its red, white, and gold livery. The cigar has a full-bodied flavor yet is nonetheless refined and balanced. Leather, cocoa bean, and wood abound, with a citrus note thrown in for good measure.
