Don Jaime Partagás founded the Partagás brand in Cuba in 1845 and built the majestic Partagás cigar factory as a symbol of pride for his brand. It was later managed by Ramón Cifuentes until he lost it due to nationalization. The Cuban Partagás brand is extensive and includes the rich and bold Lusitania, a double corona, as well as Cuba’s best-selling handmade cigar, the robusto-sized Serie D No. 4.
