Type: Cuban Cigars
The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.3 is a new Habano that is part of the brand’s Epicure Line, making it the fourth vitola in this series. It is a figurado cigar, featuring a conical shape that tapers to a point, reminiscent of the earliest Cuban cigars from the 19th century.
In the oldest traditions of Cuban cigars, most were presented with a pointed finish during the 19th century. This was documented in 1940 by the renowned historian of the Habano world, José E. Perdomo. This contrasts with the so-called "parejos," which have a cylindrical shape.
Cigar Aficionado Rated this cigar at 93 Points.
