Type: Cuban Cigars
Herman Upmann was a German banker who fell in love with Cuban cigars and moved to Havana in 1844 to set up shop as both a banker and a cigar maker. His bank closed in the early 1920s, but his cigars remain a fine example of an elegant, Mild-Medium flavored Habano.
Introduced in February 2016 at the Habanos Festival, the H. Upmann Magnum 54 perfectly rounds out the range. Its colorado wrapper is smooth and silky to the touch. The draw is precise, offering an enjoyable smoking experience from the start.
The first puffs reveal notes of roasted coffee and cedar, while a surprising sweetness emerges. Toasted almond notes blend harmoniously with hints of vanilla, leading to a finish dominated by spicier aromas. This magnificent vitola delivers a remarkably refined aromatic expression.
