The MAXX line was a huge risk to create. At the time, traditional, smaller ring gauge cigars were en vogue. As innovators, they wanted to buck the trend. The challenge was to create a line of large cigars with maximized palate experience and satisfaction at a great value.
By using tobaccos from five different countries in a large format cigar, they were able to create balance and complexity. Sometimes, bigger is better.
Alec Bradley MAXX was designed to deliver an eventful character that was balanced and far from overwhelming.
Cloaked by a dark Nicaraguan Maduro leaf, a complex, 4-country blend of tobaccos (Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and Honduras) is bound by a tasty Costa Rican Binder.
