Founded by Alvarez y Garcia in 1875 and named after Shakespeare's tragic lovers- Romeo Y Julieta. The brand rose to fame in 1903 under the direction of a talented promoter- Don 'Pepin'.

Romeo Y Julieta’s balanced and aromatic blend of selected filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone make it the classic medium bodied Habano.   Made using the Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano – long filler, totally made by hand – technique. The cigar has a full-bodied flavor yet is nonetheless refined and balanced. Leather, cocoa bean, and wood abound, with a citrus note thrown in for good measure.
