Dark and oily, Deadwood almost bears a resemblance to dark chocolate. The roll is precisely executed and the construction near flawless. Drew Estate never skimps on quality control, and Deadwood is not by any means an exception. Sweet Jane is a beautiful 5" x 46 corona that offers a wonderful presentation of the true flavor profile of the blend. An opening blast of sweet cocoa greets the palate, mingled with spicy Nicaraguan pepper and earthy goodness. Maple, nutmeg, and coffee linger in the background, along with faint floral flavors and a touch of incense. Spicy on the finish, Deadwood is full-bodied, smooth, and wonderfully balanced, offering a top-notch smoking experience only Drew Estate can present so wildly. The aroma of Deadwood is similar to fine pipe tobacco, making it a pleasant experience for your company in the room as well.

Drew Estate cigars are usually aimed at seasoned connoisseurs, though sticks like Deadwood are affordable enough to be thoroughly enjoyed by just about anyone. This particular blend is not "infused," so to speak, but carries a very different flavor profile than you are probably used to. It may be described as a cross between Undercrown and the Natural Series, though each smoke you may pick up just a few different flavor variations. Deadwood pairs excellent with coffee, dark beer, or even red wine, and makes a great conversation piece to share with friends. Few names in the cigar business have as colorful of a past as Drew Estate. Deadwood Sweet Jane simply is a delicious reminder of the infamous brand's humble beginnings.
