Rafael Gonzalez is a pre-revolutionary cigar brand that first appeared under the name La Flor de Marquez. The company was founded in 1928, but the trademark was not registered until 1936. Rafael Gonzalez cigars are made in the famous Romeo y Julieta factory; the brand was originally developed for the British market, using a light tasting blend of tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region.
The Rafael Gonzalez Panetela Extra is a hidden gem. It has a thin gauge and a slightly minimal size. Wrapped in a beautiful natural colored Cuban wrapper, the panetela extra offers floral, sweet, and sublime tasting notes.
