Hoyo de Monterrey was the first brand to introduce a Petit Robusto in 2005.
A light bodied smoke full of deep rustic but elegant flavors, we found wood, salt and walnut to be at the top. The smoke output was impressive, thick and creamy, its smooth transitions guided us through this smoke. Additional flavours of cream, cinnamon and vanilla come through in the second half with dashes of pepper closer to the finish.
The Petit Robusto would pair excellently with a light bodied beer or a Pinot Noir after a hearty meal. You can expect to enjoy this cigar for around 45 minutes, and they are likely to leave you wanting more.
