Herman Upmann was a German banker who fell in love with Cuban cigars and moved to Havana in 1844 to set up shop as both a banker and a cigar maker. His bank closed in the early 1920s, but his cigars remain a fine example of an elegant, Mild-Medium flavored Habano.

The wrapper, binder, and lengthy filler of this magnificent cigar are all derived from Cuba's Vuelta Abajo region. The figurado-sized cigar is 6 18" long and has a bold 52 ring gauge, giving it an even more stunning look. A clean taper and little veining characterize the pyramid shape.
