Quintero's smooth, medium-bodied flavor is ideal for those looking to sample the flavor of Habanos at a reasonable price.
It is one of the few Habanos brands that was not created in Cuba's capital city of Havana. Instead, Agustin Quintero and his four brothers established themselves in the south coast city of Cienfuegos, known as the "Pearl of the South."
Quintero's filler blend contains only tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta zones. Each Quintero cigar is made entirely by hand using a short filler technique.
Quintero's family has produced another strong cigar. Similar to the Panetelas in flavor, but with less tobacco characteristics, this cigar gives the appearance of being gentler than the rest of the family. It's easy to get a false sense of security since the final phase is so powerful.
