Made by Luciano & Ace Prime Cigars at Tabacalera Pichardo in Nicaragua, which is also the source for a number of Crowned Heads cigars. Fiat Lux is Latin for the biblical phrase, “Let there be light.” But Luciano adds that the reference is closer to the word “enlightened,” as in when you discover “the complexity of flavors” along with “the possibility of introspection” as you smoke. Sounds like heady stuff. Yet the Fiat Lux is far from heady in pleasure.
The tawny wrapper of this cigar is oily and has thin veins. Intense flavors of spicy ginger, molasses, dried fruit and a hint of coconut come together for a finish of ground cloves. The even burn and consistent draw form a solid ash
