A sturdy, if rather high-set and high-rimmed rendition of the straight Bulldog, the Sherlock Holmes "Baker Street" is a novel design, though one which retains a certain classical elegance in its lines. The ridge running between the bead-lines on this particular design can sometimes be found completely smooth, as seen here, and sometimes divided into little rectangular scales.
