The majority of pipes smokers don't use a screen but that typically leads to wasted tobacco on the bottom of the bowl. Basket screens offer an alternative that ensures each bowl can be smoked until the very bottom and no tobacco will be wasted. They will fit the majority of pipes since the shape is easily manipulated to make it slightly wider or skinnier to fit the bowl.
