Mango wood is typically used for making small wooden articles in India and the bark is usually discarded. Our Tree Bark Pots have been pieced together with reclaimed tree bark pieces collected from seasoned renewable mango trees. Each rustic Tree Bark Pot is rimmed with recycled mango wood tree bark, has a hand tied decorative jute accent, and is lined with a metal plate to ensure safe burning. Due to the nature of hand piecing the containers, each candle will vary slightly in appearance. This candle comes in six sizes with two shapes; The extra-large is a beautiful round stand-alone candle at fifteen and a half inches by two and three quarter inches tall with eight wicks; the large is round, twelve inches by two and three quarter inches tall with six wicks; the medium is round, seven and a quarter inches by two and a half inches tall with two wicks; and the small Tree Bark Pot is round, round five inches by two and a quarter inches tall with one wick; the large Irregular Tree Bark Pot, bean shaped, is seven and a quarter inches by two and a half inches tall with two wicks and the small Irregular Tree Bark Pot, bean shaped, is five inches by two and a quarter inches tall with one wick. All of our Tree Bark Pots are hand poured in Georgia, by our experienced candle makers, with one hundred forty-eight, seventy-six, twenty-six or nine ounces of a clean burning, United States grown, fragranced soy wax blend with a high-quality fragrance compound oil. Our distinctive fragrances are saturated with layers of nuance, complex and intricate, and are designed to evoke a particular time and place, triggered by memories and nostalgia. Beginning with the design conception by our staff, our vessels are individually created by artists all over the world. Every candle is crafted in small batches in our studio, by artisans with meticulous attention to details from mixing of the ingredients, hand pouring the wax, hand tying of the jute cord, and adding the handsome leather dustcover. The extra-large, large, and irregular Tree Bark Pots come in our signature fragrances of Grapefruit Pine, Ginger Patchouli, Tobacco Bark and Wild Green Fig. The medium and small Tree Bark Pot is poured in Campfire, Ginger Patchouli, Grapefruit Pine, Mountain Forest, Sugared Lemon and Tobacco Bark; These candles should give approximately seventy, sixty-five, or thirty-five hours of burn time. And, as with all our candles, the Tree Bark Pot can be reused once the wicks have burned away, and it has been cleaned out, by refilling with our easy Candle Making Kit, or repurposed as a decorative container for your table, counter or desk, to be used time and time again.
