Herman Upmann was a German banker who fell in love with Cuban cigars and moved to Havana in 1844 to set up shop as both a banker and a cigar maker. His bank closed in the early 1920s, but his cigars remain a fine example of an elegant, Mild-Medium flavored Habano.
With a length of 129mm and a ring gauge of 42, the H. Upmann Coronas Major is a Mareva vitola.

On the cold draw, a beautiful aroma of milk chocolate springs out, with overtones of cinnamon and honey. Cedar and vanilla are strong at first, with citrus and tea notes ringing in to the great herbal tobacco flavor with a noticeable sweetness.
